Arizona Fraternal Order of Police Endorses
Bill Gates for Phoenix City Council

FOP president highlights Gates’ strong leadership in District 3 endorsement

PHOENIX -- The Arizona Fraternal Order of Police, with more than 7,000 members across the state, endorses Bill Gates and encourages voters to retain him as Phoenix City Councilman for District 3.

After a thorough review, the Arizona Fraternal Order of Police chose Councilman Gates for his unique understanding of law enforcement needs and his support of Phoenix Police Department employees, said Bryan Soller, president of the FOP in Arizona. The FOP also shares Councilman Gates’ views on the critical working relationship between police officers, city of Phoenix leadership and community members.

“Councilman Gates has a record of strong leadership and positive experiences with law enforcement and the FOP,” Soller said. “The members of the Fraternal Order of Police firmly believe that Councilman Gates is the best candidate to usher Phoenix into a new era while resolving the various issues facing the city.”
