F. KENTON KOMADINA (KENT) is also a native
of Arizona, born and raised in Phoenix. Kent received his Juris Doctorate
from Arizona State University College of Law in 1979 and he served as
chief counsel of the Criminal Trials Section of the Arizona Attorney
General's Office for eight years prior to joining Yen, Pilch,
Komadina & Flemming. His duties included legislative and public safety policy
development, supervision of gang and street crimes cases, coordination of
drug and gang prevention programs sponsored by the Attorney General's
Office and acting as liaison to the statewide law enforcement community.
Kent worked closely with the Governor's Office and the State Legislature
advocating and negotiating for the implementation of new legislation and
public policy.
Kent served as the Attorney General's
representative on Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board, the
Arizona Criminal Justice Commission and the Arizona Prosecuting Attorneys
Advisory Council. Additionally, he served as legal counsel to the Arizona
Peace Officers' Memorial Board and was the office's constituent
representative to the Fraternal Order of Police. His practice emphasis is
in employment and personal injury law.
